You can browse public live slates and prop details without creating an account. Signed-out research is read-only and disposable. We do not promise to save or recover temporary signed-out state. An account is required when you ask us to save, track, personalize, sync, send alerts, check Founder eligibility, restore a purchase, or provide another durable account-owned feature.

Information we process

• Account information: email address, display name, authentication method, access status, and account timestamps when you create an account.
• Product information: saved research, tracked activity, watchlists, preferences, notification settings, and other features you choose to keep with an account.
• Requests and support: the parameters needed to return requested analysis, plus information you choose to send in feedback or a support request.
• Analytics and diagnostics: app events, campaign and referring-page details when present, device and operating-system information, and crash or reliability diagnostics.
• Notifications: a push token and the alert preferences you choose when notifications are enabled.

Anonymous measurement and account linking

For a limited browse-first product experiment, the app creates a random, device-local identifier to keep an assigned prompt experience consistent. That local identifier is never sent to Firebase or our servers. Firebase may use its own pseudonymous app-instance identifier to measure first open, prop-detail views, prompt exposure, and return use. The experiment does not require an advertising identifier or device fingerprinting.

If you register, we may store your prompt group, platform, first-open date, and completed account-owned actions with the new account so we can measure activation. The device-local identifier is not included or linked to your account. We do not create a parallel anonymous account or migrate anonymous saved state. The app removes the local identifier after the study, and account deletion removes it immediately.

Local temporary state

Some settings and temporary research state may stay on your device for faster loading or continuity. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes that local state. It does not, by itself, delete an existing account or information already transmitted to us or a service provider.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts, sync account-owned features, deliver requested analysis and notifications, provide support, measure whether product experiences are useful, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We use service providers where needed to operate Propeller Picks. Depending on the feature and platform, these may include Apple and Google for sign-in and app distribution; Railway for hosting and databases; Expo for app and notification infrastructure; Firebase and Google Analytics for analytics; PostHog for product analytics; Sentry for error diagnostics; Resend for email; Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play for billing or entitlement management; and Google Gemini for requested analysis features.

Optional Meta marketing measurement on public web pages loads only after you consent. You can decline it without losing account access. Each provider processes information under its own terms and documented retention duties.

Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, legal compliance, disputes, and the purposes described here. A completed deletion request removes account-linked information under our control except limited records needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or enforcement purposes; a minimal marketing-suppression record; and information irreversibly aggregated or de-identified. Outside providers may retain limited records under their own legal obligations and retention schedules.

Age and changes

Propeller Picks is intended for people age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change and will update the revision date on this page.
